The Ultimate Gaming Console

Console ComparisonA system that has four wireless controllers and the ability to connect to up to four standard definition televisions at the same time. This would allow my friends and I to gather four 19 inch television in one basement and have a real console lan party. It would also have the ability to output to two televisions simultaneously with two players on each screen. You could connect consoles over lan for up to 16 player games. This system would have the ability to do voice chat over a free service such as skype, xfire, or teamspeak. There would be an IM client similar to the one currently in Steam which tells you what friends are on and what they are playing. You would add your friends simply by using their email address.

The system would come with a standard 20 GB laptop hard drive which could be swapped for a larger one if necessary. This system would have built in 802.11N. All games would be purchased off of a store similar to Steam or the Apple app store. Developers would be encouraged to develop for it by receiving a high percentage of the revenue from their games. The online service would be free.
